Denise was a Brooklyn girl until she met Andrea. He proposed and asked her to move to Italy with him after they married in NYC. I thought this was a beautiful story and so happy for Denise! She is loving her new life in Italy with Andrea.

A gorgeous couple (who wanted to keep their names private from the internet) contacted me to photograph their ceremony at City Hall. I love photographing at City Hall. There are so many beautiful areas around to explore and choose from. They loved Brooklyn Bridge, so we walked across and took a couple photos there.
This year I’ve happily photographed Ndidi and Vincent three times. It all started with their engagement session, then their traditional Nigerian ceremony in Los Angeles California. Now their big wedding day has finally arrived, and I was happy to cover their whole wedding day. We met at their home in Brooklyn, then took some pictures by the ODB mural, McCarren Park and last but not least, My Moon Restaurant.

From time to time, I have clients contact me from other states that would love to be photographed in NYC. Alda + Dan flew from Michigan and wanted to take pictures in Central Park, Grand Central Station, East River Ferry, and Williamsburg Piers in Brooklyn.
We had a blast and spent the whole day getting to know each other. I loved Alda’s style and she was very fashionable for NYC!

Marvaline and Sam came from Connecticut to NYC to have their renewal of vows at Shakespeare’s Garden in Central Park. It was a beautiful ceremony and their children were also a part of this special day. We went up to Belvedere Castle to take some family portraits after the ceremony.
It was the height of a beautiful summer day in August. Eve and Jack contacted me from Maryland and described their perfect engagement session at Central Park. We met up at the Plaza hotel and explored places in the park such as the beautiful cast iron Bow Bridge and the romantic willow tree paths.
Ndidi + Vincent loved our engagement session so much that they decided to fly me out to Los Angeles, California to photograph their special Traditional Nigerian Ceremony. Over 300 people attended this colorful event.
The process of the ceremony was nothing like anything I’ve seen before. So much detail and patience involved in building the anticipation of seeing Ndidi at the end of the night. The families had to make negotiations with special gifts such as liquor, yams, gardening tools, and money. Once Ndidi’s family accepts, then Vincent is allowed to see his bride to be! Here are some incredible pictures from the ceremony. I hope to photograph many more Nigerian weddings in the near future!!
Jing + Jimi contacted me two days before their justice of peace wedding ceremony. I was available on their special day so I was able to photograph and capture the moments they shared with their family. It was a gorgeous summer day with a few white clouds but plenty of blue sky.
