Marvaline and Sam came from Connecticut to NYC to have their renewal of vows at Shakespeare’s Garden in Central Park. It was a beautiful ceremony and their children were also a part of this special day. We went up to Belvedere Castle to take some family portraits after the ceremony.

It was the height of a beautiful summer day in August. Eve and Jack contacted me from Maryland and described their perfect engagement session at Central Park. We met up at the Plaza hotel and explored places in the park such as the beautiful cast iron Bow Bridge and the romantic willow tree paths.

Ndidi + Vincent loved our engagement session so much that they decided to fly me out to Los Angeles, California to photograph their special Traditional Nigerian Ceremony. Over 300 people attended this colorful event.
The process of the ceremony was nothing like anything I’ve seen before. So much detail and patience involved in building the anticipation of seeing Ndidi at the end of the night. The families had to make negotiations with special gifts such as liquor, yams, gardening tools, and money. Once Ndidi’s family accepts, then Vincent is allowed to see his bride to be! Here are some incredible pictures from the ceremony. I hope to photograph many more Nigerian weddings in the near future!!

I was also featured on Munaluchi Bridal Magazine!

Jing + Jimi contacted me two days before their justice of peace wedding ceremony. I was available on their special day so I was able to photograph and capture the moments they shared with their family. It was a gorgeous summer day with a few white clouds but plenty of blue sky.

I met up with Ndidi + Vincent in Brooklyn on a semi-rainy afternoon. We drove over to Brooklyn Bridge Park and the downpour suddenly turned into a slight drizzle of rain. Prepped with our umbrellas, we headed over towards the river and took a few fun photo ideas Ndidi had in mind. I loved all the creative ideas of jumping and just having a good time with her and Vincent! At the end of the day, we went up to their rooftop and I photographed them in their special moment dressed in their traditional Nigerian outfits. Absolutely stunning couple!

Kat + Joe contacted me a couple weeks ago to photograph their wedding in October. They met me at my home office in the Lower East Side. We chatted for while about what they wanted their wedding to be like. I offered my ideas and we planned for a Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Session.

Vicky + Dave had their intimate wedding on the rooftop of their apartment building. It was a romantic afternoon with close family and friends. After the ceremony, we walked to the Brooklyn Bridge to take some pictures and have the reception in Dumbo area.

Karen + Will’s wedding day took place at the beautiful Shakespeare Garden with the Sundial at the top of the garden area. Such a peaceful ceremony filled with love, laughter, family and friends. After the ceremony, we went to the Boathouse in Central Park for some delicious lunch to celebrate.

Karen + Will were such a fun couple to photograph. There was a little bit of rain when we met, but that didn’t stop us from grabbing a few umbrellas and having a good time running around the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NY

Bianca + Josh had an extravagant wedding at the Rockleigh Country Club in New Jersey on April 16th 2011
I took the photojournalist approach to capture their wedding day. Here are several images I would like to share.
