We loved photographing and celebrating with Sam and Devon. Their wedding took place at the end of October on a hot fall day, and they incorporated so many beautiful elements into their day. We arrived in the morning and dug into a box of fun details to create the flat lay. The invitation suite was bold and detailed by parklifepress.com

Sam’s Reem Acra wedding gown took my breath away with its exquisite details when I first saw it! Even her Manolo Blahnik shoes were unique, with pink and blue accents on the jewels. Having Verstolo for diamond earrings and bracelets elevates your look by renting them and completing your wedding style!

We took some photos of Sam and then headed to New York Botanical Gardens to meet with Devon for the first look!

Arriving to New York Botanical Gardens

New York Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to have your wedding. It was our third time here, and we saw something new and different every time we came here. Something about Fall that makes it even more magical. The leaves change colors and the smell of nature while still being in the Northern part of the city.

We met with Sam and Devon’s wedding planner, Beth Marie Events. She helped us prepare the couple for their first look and find a location with few people. Tucked away from the public eye, we found a perfect secluded part of the park.

After shedding a few tears of joy from the emotional first look, we took photos in different locations before the ceremony began.

Wedding Ceremony

Sam and Devon know how to surprise their guests. Having a string quartet play the Succession theme song was an interesting yet fitting choice, and we were all delighted by it. After the ceremony, we took more photos nearby and proceeded to cocktail hour to get mingling pictures of the guests and the couple.

Wedding Reception

The reception room was so beautiful!! The twinkling lights, the details of all the place settings, and the florals by Kraft and Co. were such a treat! I always love a good floral moment! The band was lively, and everyone danced the whole night. I love Hudson Horns. They know how to make people party!
